REGISTRATION OF TOWN COUNCIL PROPERTY IN THE LAND REGISTRY
To receive a report from the Town Clerk on action taken to register Town Council properties in the Land Registry (report herewith)

THE TOWN HALL
The repairs to the roof, gutters and pipes and essential internal works is almost completed
|

THE MOOT HALL
Work in the exercise yard has begun

THE PLUME BUILDING
The Town Clerk has reviewed the contracts for the Fire and Intruder alarm systems and a contract has been agreed with a local company at a more competitive price.

STRATEGIC ACTION WORKING PARTY
To consider a request from the Working Party for a budget to undertake promotional and entertainment events in the town.

HEALTH & SAFETY AND EMPLOYMENT LAW SUPPORT
To consider a proposal for a 3 year contract to provide the Council with specialist support for health and safety and employment law requirements (report herewith)

BUDGETS
To consider the 2010-2011 budget and prepare recommendations for Council
|

NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH SIGNS
At the request of Council, to consider funding the provision and erection of Neighbourhood Watch signs at £12.50 each (and installation costs of £102.93 per sign if a new post is required). There is no specific budget heading for this type of expenditure.

CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS OFFICE OPENING HOURS
To agree proposed arrangements:
Christmas Eve - office closed
Tuesday 29 - Thursday 31 December - open 9am -1pm
Normal hours resume Monday 4 January 2010

EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
In accordance with s.1 of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 to resolve that in view of the confidential nature of the business to be discussed it is in the opinion of the Committee advisable in the public interest that the public and press be temporarily excluded and they be instructed to withdraw.
