ECC - COMMUNITY INITIATIVES FUND 2009/2010
ECC launched the next round of CIF on 6th July, 2009. There will initially be a fund of £6m which will be divided over the next four year term. There will be no separate CIF (Youth) this year, but the funds available for the CIF itself will be £100,000 for each district. The deadline for applications is 6th November, 2009. CIF (Highways) will also run again with a £1million fund to be divided across Essex. The upper limit has been extended to £50,000. To consider capital projects for which an application to the fund could be made. To note that the Town Council will need to provide some funding towards suggested projects.

MDC - COMPREHENSIVE EQUALITY POLICY - CONSULTATION
To receive and comment on the draft MDC Comprehensive Equality Policy, incorporating the Single Equality Scheme. The draft policy sets out their commitment to promoting equality of opportunity for the citizens of the Maldon District Council and for employees and/or potential employees of the District Council. MALDON DISTRICT CONSERVATION AND DESIGN AWARDS 2009
Further to minute 62 of the Planning Committee meeting held on 27th July, 2009 to consider nominations of projects withinthe following categories: Building Conservation, Nature Conservation/Landscape, Design, Sustainability. Closing date for nominations is 31st August, 2009.
