Centenary of Maldon Bowling Club
The Town Mayor has been invited to attend the official opening of the Maldon Bowling Club centennial year in 2008 on Sunday 20th April, 2008. The Town Council has also been invited to enter into the spirit of the day by entering a Town Council team of 4 to participate in a game of lawn bowls. No experience necessary.

MALDON HEROES DISPLAY
The Chairman of the Maldon District Museum Association has written to thank the Town Council for the loan of the Byrhtnoth maquette. The Maldon Heroes Display had created a great deal of interest and favourable comments during the season. He enquired if the Town Council would consider allowing the Museum to keep the maquette for a further 12 months to enable the display to be retained. The Museum insures the maquette whilst it is on its premises.
