ACCOUNTS

To receive the Income & Expenditure accounts for the year ending 31 March 2008, together with the supporting statement. The internal audit will take place on 15 May and the report will be put before the Committee at its meeting on 16 June 2008. The accounts together with the Annual Return will be put before Council for approval on 23 June 2008.

PUBLIC CONVENIENCES IN THE TOWN
Maldon District Council has decided to reopen the public conveniences at White Horse Lane pending a review of the provision public conveniences in the District which will take place later in the year. The District Council has asked whether the Town Council would be willing to make a contribution to the running costs of these public conveniences during the interim period.

To receive the report of the Building Inspection of the Town Hall and consider any urgent action required

If available, to consider the quotation for the installation of permanent stage lights on the lighting bar in the Main Hall. This project would be suitable for an application to the ECC Community Initiatives Fund. |

EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
In accordance with s.1 of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 to resolve that in view of the confidential nature of the business to be discussed it is in the opinion of the Committee advisable in the public interest that the public and press be temporarily excluded and they be instructed to withdraw.
