Notification has been received from John Edwards Associates regarding the submission of an application for Listed Building Consent to Maldon District Council which enclosed the required notice under section 65 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 which stated:
I am given to understand that Solicitors for Silks Racing Limited will be writing to you, in the near future, regarding an agreement to install the satellite on the Council's property.

SPEED OF TRAFFIC - CHANTRY PARK ESTATE

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - WANTZ ROAD
To receive notification from the Area Highway Manager, Essex County Council regarding a Temporary Road Closure at Wantz Road, Maldon on Sunday 21st May, 2006 between 09.30 and 15.30 hours for 1 day. The closure is required due to the undertaking of Telecommunications and in the interest of road safety for both members of the public and the workforce.
The closure is on Wantz Road, 150m south from Queens Street Junction on Wantz Road. The diversion route will be via Junction Wantz Road, turn west on Queens Street - Warwick Drive - South into Fambridge Road turning east into Cross Road to junction Wantz Road - Mundon and vice versa. Access to residents and the emergency services will be maintained up to the works area throughout the duration of the works.

TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE - FALCON MEWS, MALDON
Notification has been received from the Area Highway Manager, Essex County Council regarding a temporary footway closure which is required for 5 days starting on 15th May until 19th May, 2006. The closure is required due to the undertaking of footway repairs in the vicinity of number 10 and 24 Falcon Mews and in the interest of road safety for both members of the public and workforce. The diversion route will be via Falcon Mews to Courtland Place, via footway, then Courtland Place to Essex Road via footway and vice versa. Map showing diversion route will be available for inspection in the office or at the meeting.

APPLICATION REFERENCE NO.: APP/X1545/A/05/1189889
DESCRIPTION OF DEVELOPMENT: Non compliance with condition 2 attached to planning permission FUL/MAL/95/0200 relating to the nature of goods to be sold.
Notification has been received regarding an appeal received by the Planning Inspectorate against the decision of the District Council to refuse planning permission for the above development. However the appellant has withdrawn the appeal, therefore a hearing will no longer be arranged and the Planning Inspectorate has closed the file. Should the appellant decide to submit a new application in future it would be publicised in the normal way and the opportunity provided at that stage for representations to be made on the new application.

For your information it was commented that the vertical joints on the panel were a little too wide, and should be noticeably narrower than the horizontal joints."
