ST. MARY'S CHURCHYARD WALL
Further to minute 55.2 of the Environment Committee meeting held on 29th January, 2007 to note that the Town Council's solicitors are pursing our concerns regarding the damage to the St. Mary's Churchyard wall caused by the erection of a telegraph pole on Church Street.

Dog Bin
Members are informed that the dog bin situated at the far end of Leech Memorial Garden has been damaged and in need of repair and members are requested to consider the quotations for the replacement of the bin.

Tree Work
It has been reported that it may be necessary to undertake pollarding to the Willow trees growing within the garden as, due to their size, they are suffering from wind damage and concern has been expressed that they could become seriously damaged. The advice of the Tree Officer, Maldon District Council is being sought.

Notice Boards
The Friends of Leech Memorial Garden have been approached to ascertain the wording which they would wish to appear on an information board to be installed at the garden. Once this information has been received, quotations will be sought for the new information board.
