a. To receive a report of the Town Clerk regarding licensing applications and to consider
preparing a policy on considering applications under the Licensing Act 2003, for approval by Council. (copy herewith)
b. Information has been received that the following have applied for a conversion of an
existing Justices' Licence to Premises Certificate (Grandfather Rights only):
i. Blue Boar Hotel, Silver Street, Maldon
ii. Co-op Food Store, Cross Road, Maldon
iii. Madison Connections, Park Drive, Maldon
iv. Madison Heights, Park Drive, Maldon
v. Madison Snooker Centre, Park Drive, Maldon
vi. Maldon Cottage Restaurant, 9-10 King Georges Place, High Street, Maldon
c. West Maldon Community Centre, Sunbury Way, Maldon have applied for a conversion of an existing Justices' Licence to Premises Certificate whilst making the following simultaneous variation:
to include plays,
indoor sporting events (judo, table tennis, karate),
activities on Sundays,
Timing of events will vary according to the specific needs of particular events.

SEWAGE AND DRAINAGE SYSTEM WITHIN THE TOWN
Further to minute 48 of the Planning Committee meeting held on 11th July 2005, to receive a response from Maldon District Council regarding a working party to look at the sewage and drainage system within the town. To note that to date a reply has not been received from Mr R Hall, Clerk to MHIC. (copy herewith)
