a. Padlock
A replacement padlock has been purchased and will be installed on the gate on Friday, 19th August, 2005.
b. Additional Water Tanks - Minute 15.4b
The water tanks and associated parts have been ordered, a mini digger is being hired and the tenants will be undertaking the work to install four additional water tanks at the site.
c. Rubbish Clearance - Minute 15.4c
Although it was agreed that a skip be hired to remove rubbish from the site, on contacting the skip hire companies it was ascertained that skips are unable to be delivered to King Street because of the narrow road. Members are requested to consider a quotation from the Ground Maintenance Contractor to remove the rubbish from the site.

Allotment Tenancy Agreement and Rules
To receive and consider revised copies of the Allotment Tenancy Agreement and Rules for Maldon Hall, Warwick Crescent, and Brickhouse Farm which are slightly different and comply with the lease agreement from the Maldon District Council for this site. (copies herewith)

MHHS Best Kept Allotment Competition 2005
Members are informed that the results of the Best Kept Allotment 2005 have been received from the Maldon and Heybridge Horticultural Society and are as follows:
1st Mr B. Mead - Maldon Hall site plots 29a, 30a & 30b
Joint 2nd Mr R. Lee - Maldon Hall site plots 25b & 28a
Mr R. Cable - Maldon Hall site plots 4 5a & 5b
Joint 3rd Mr G. Shirmer - Maldon Hall site plot 7
Mr E Cook - Maldon Hall site plot 9
Mr J Miller - Heybridge
It is suggested that a copy of the competition results be circulated with the annual invoice.

GROUNDS MAINTENANCE CONTRACT
The existing Ground Maintenance Contract expires on 31st March, 2006. Members are requested to consider a proposed Schedule of Works for the Ground Maintenance Contract for the period 1st April 2006 - 31st March, 2010. Members to note that proposed amendments to the existing contract are highlighted in red. Should members authorise the Schedule of Works, tenders will be sought for consideration with the 2006 / 2007 Estimates. (copies herewith - members only)

In accordance with s.1 of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 to resolve that in view of the confidential nature of the business to be discussed, it is in the opinion of the Committee advisable in the public interest that the public and press be temporarily excluded and they be instructed to withdraw.
