APPOINTMENT OF A MEMBER - Maldon in Bloom Working Party
At the previous Town Council meeting, there were no nominations for a member to serve on the Maldon in Bloom Working Party. Since that meeting, Cllr. Almond has attended a Working Party meeting and, should members approve, he would be happy to serve on the Working Party for the remainder of the municipal year.

DRAFT ESSEX SCHOOL ORGANISATION PLAN 2005 -2010
Further to minute 38 of the Town Council meeting held on 20th June, 2005 to receive a verbal report from Cllr. Mrs. Sharon Riesebeck regarding the Draft Essex School Organisation Plan 2005 - 2010.

MALDON'S FUTURE: A COMMUNITY VIEW
Maldon was chosen to participate in a pilot project funded by the Countryside Agency to produce a Town Design Statement. It has been suggested that as the document is now four years old, it should be reviewed and the Town Council has been asked to consider forming a Working Group to include representatives of organisations involved in the preparation of the original document, to undertake a review.
Should members agree to this request, a meeting has been provisionally arranged for Wednesday, 10th August, 2005 commencing at 10.00 a.m., in the Conference Room

EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
In accordance with s.1 of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 to resolve that in view of the confidential nature of the business to be discussed it is in the opinion of the Council advisable in the public interest that the public and press be temporarily excluded and they be instructed to withdraw.

To note the report by the Clerk and consider a proposal from Maldon District Council regarding the Maeldune Heritage Centre.
