As the site is on a Quality Bus Partnership route the Essex County Council would replace the bus shelter at no cost to the Town Council but the Town Council would be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the shelter. MARKET HILL GARDEN
The Town Council's Ground Maintenance Contractor recently reported that shrubs had been removed adjacent to the boundary wall of the garden to enable the wall to be rebuilt by the owner of the adjacent property. It is suggested that a letter be sent to the resident of the property requesting that they compensate the Town Council for the cost to re-plant the area with mature shrubs.
