HIGH STREET IMPROVEMENTS, MALDON
Notification has been received from Steve Broad, Essex County Council Highways, that a meeting is to take place at the Maldon District Council Offices, Princes Road, Maldon on Wednesday 15th September, 2004 at 5.00pm regarding the next phase of the High Street re-pavement works. In this respect it has been requested that the Town Clerk and two members of the Town Council attend the meeting

PROPOSED REMOVAL OF PAYPHONES IN MALDON
Further to minute 51 of the Planning Committee meeting held on 12th July 2004, members to note that a letter has been received from the Project Liaison Office, BT Payphones which states that due to the sheer volume of responses received there will be a considerable delay in responding to correspondence and that recovery of the public payphones will not proceed until any issues have been resolved.
For information the Maldon Museum have expressed an interest in receiving a red phone box and this request has been forwarded to BT

SPECIAL MEETING OF THE MALDON SILTATION GROUP
Further to minute 39 of the Planning Committee meeting held on 28th June 2004, to receive a report from Cllrs S Savage and T Shrimpton regarding their attendance at the Special meeting of the Maldon Siltation Group held on 21st July 2004.

APPEAL DECISION - FUL/MAL/03/00812
AREA BETWEEN 23 AND 27 GATE STREET, MALDON
Further to minute 172 of the Planning Committee meeting held on 5th January 2004, to receive from the Planning Inspectorate the Appeal decision regarding Planning application No: FUL/MAL/03/00812. Members will recall that the Town Council had no objection to this application. (copy herewith)

ENTERTAINMENT LICENSE
Notification has been received that Peter John Maynard of the Maldon Town Regatta Association is to apply for an Entertainment Licence for music and dancing in respect of Hythe Quay, Maldon on Saturday 18th September 2004, between 7pm and 11pm.

TRANSFER OF JUSTICES
Notification has been received that the following are to apply for a Transfer of Justices' License: (a) Iain Robert Lovie of Violet Close, Ipswich, Suffolk and Karen Seely of 32 Staplers Heath, Great Totham, in respect of Iceland, 62-66 High Street, Maldon;
(b) Michael Kirkham of High Oaks, Creephedge Lane, East Haningfield and Sarah Pharoah of Clarke Rise, Cold Norton in respect of Maldon Town Football Club, Park Drive, Maldon to be known as Maddison Connections;
