THE ESSEX COUNTY COUNCIL (WANTZ ROAD AND HIGH STREET, MALDON) (TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF PROHIBITION OF ENTRY) ORDER 2005
Members are informed that the following Public Notice has been received from the Principal Legal Assistant Essex County Council regarding a Temporary Suspension of Prohibition of Entry.
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice (28th April), 2005), to make the above order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, temporarily suspending the prohibition of entry into Wantz Road from Maldon High Street.
The suspension is scheduled to commence on 06 May, 2005, for 18 months or until a permanent Traffic Regulation Order is made, whichever is the earlier, unless extended by the Secretary of State. The suspension is required for the safety of the public and Highway.
The Order will temporarily suspend The Essex County Council (Wantz Road and Mill Road, Maldon) (Prohibition of Entry) Order 2001, however the provisions contained in that Order not mentioned above will remain in force.
