MOOT HALL, HIGH STREET, MALDON

NOW OPEN AFTER REFURBISHMENT
GUIDED TOURS OF THE MOOT HALL

Every Saturday 2pm & 3.30pm beginning March until end October.
Tour lasts approximately 1 hour.

Dating from the 15th century,
the Moot Hall has seen over 400 years of local government use.
It has been a police station, a jail and a courthouse.
Following essential internal and external refurbishment,
15th century ornamental brickwork has now been uncovered.
No Charge, but Donations requested

Maldon school children with Maldon teachers and parents on organised tours admitted free.
