In order to sustain the award winning service and reach an increased number of people the T.I.C. has moved to Wenlock Way, the pedestrian access between Butt Lane Car Park and the High Street. This move coincides with recognition by VisitBritain, the government body for tourism, of the excellent service provided in Maldon; it has designated Maldon T.I.C. an England Information Partner. VisitBritain will nationally and internationally promote their Information Partners of which there are only around 230.

Every Saturday, 6th March until - 30th October, 2pm & 3.30pm . N.B. There will be no tour at 2pm on Saturday August, Carnival Day.
A guided tour of this historic grade 1 listed building formerly owned by the D'Arcy family. The centre of local government since 1576.
Dating from the 15th century, the Moot Hall has seen over 400 years of local government use. It has a jail, courtroom and prisoners' exercise yard.
